Door at top...note how left roller is a bit extended...vs how they are fairly even when the door is lowered....

Measurement of the distance between the tracks at the bottom...

...vs at the ceiling...

Seems to be about an inch and a half difference.

I should be able to simply unbolt those two bolts on the left bracket and move it over one circle (with the door lowered obviously)?  Right?

I think I should be able to ... the only confusion is that I can't believe they installed it incorrectly 20+ years ago and it's just now being noticed (unless the previous owners had some work done...though I'm thinking this is original to the house).

I'm naturally a slide-sleeper. I can also sleep on my back, but that's only when I'm totally exhausted.

I know I move around a lot in bed. My Dad knows this. Haha. Probably because theres too many pressure points. Also, I tend to nap a few hours in the afternoon, too. Could this sleep issue at night make me drowsy during the day?

We're searching for copies of a lost game. The files would have names like "main_file_cache" and be stored in these locations. 

C:/WINDOWS/.file_store_32
C:/WINDOWS/.jagex_cache_32

These folders were created when playing a game called RuneScape, a free browser MMORPG that was pretty popular in the 2000s. Although the game was being continuously updated from its launch in 2001, the developers only kept backups of 2 of the game's 400+ versions before 2012. Everything else from before then is lost.

However if you ever played the game once, just for a few minutes then never again, the full files would be automatically downloaded and stored on your computer. A lot of people here may have briefly checked out the game, so would be likely to have a rare old version. It would be great if people here could check any old computers, hard drives, or backups that they ever may have tried Runescape on.

Just to clarify, these files do not contain any personal information whatsoever - it's just the game's raw assets like maps, models, music, etc.

I started using Bard more recently and while I believe they operate differently I've found Bard more unbiased.

The acid test is asking something like, Is climate change a hoax, and while I think most accept its isn't both GPT and bard will support it is not a hoax. However if you ask both for any evidence to the contrary, GPT won't answer, Bard will however, albeit you are likely to dismiss or not agree, it gives information.

GPT is much more likely to give an "i cant answer that" type responses where Bard will give both sides

I've found Bard so far better to use and with the integration eventually of Google word and sheets it will be better

This is a question that has been driving me bonkers for some time.  So I'm left with the question, is this even doable in a personal Google Calendar, or does it require a paid version??

I use my personal calendar to schedule everything from dinner dates to sports outings etc.  My wife alot of times will schedule stuff for me, but never knows which color to use because they all have names like "Graphite", "Banana", "Basil", "Peacock", etc.

I would like to change those labels for the colors so that the gray/graphite would be "Softball League".  Or change say Basil to "Personal Dinner Dates".

Is that even possible in a personal Google account???

Is it possible to take it out of it's casing, and put it in a regular ATX/MATX/ITX case? I know the screws won't line up, but you can put a fabric, wood, acrylic, behind it. Or maybe include multiple Mini-PCs? Or something else as wacky as this?

So I took it apart, unsoldered about 8 things, and took it all apart. Today the battery arrived. I put it all back together and it works!

I have a Samsung Watch, I don't know what it is but I think it's a mid-high range one.

I have a Samsung S11 Ultra.

I was planning on buying the Xiaomi 13 Pro as someone said the camera would knock the socks off anything around. Another review says it's on par with Samsung S23, which is only a little bit better than my S21U.

This then led me to the Redmi Watch 3, which is about £85. The strap on my Samsung watch is a bit broken but I think I have a replacement but it's also fairly heavy.

Should I sell it and get the redmi anyway? I'm not sure what phone I'll be getting next anymore.

I've been to the U.S. a few times in the last 20 years and one thing that stood out to me is whenever we were in a taxi, all the locks engaged the moment we were in and the car started moving. This kind of startled me heh.

But if we take what we know about the universe as an example, in which nothing is wasted and dying suns and solar systems are repurposed for new, nothing is wasted and everything is reused. If we applied the same logic to life, then it makes sense to assume that when the life ends the energy or entity from it that we can't measure or understand is repurposed.

Reincarnation doesn't make sense to me because you'd have a fixed number of souls reincarnating, yet the world population keeps expanding, from which souls did the extra billions reincarnate? Religion does not have the answer to life, it simply tries to place a narrative on it.

Personally I think that when we step out of this life we're thrust into a new one immediately and the question is, why would it have to be another human male (in my case) could it be an ant, another living thing, a tree?

Not knowing is also frustrating.
