stumper66
Ah so it was buried in that article. This one feature itself should've been a headline.
JaredFrost
It is something I was waiting for too, but I think it still needs some work. Open like 5-10 of the same application, say calculator, then single right click one of the far left or right icons in the taskbar for it, the menu will open in the middle of all of them, that's just weird. Or if you have a bunch of applications open and click the start menu, it'll open in the middle of the screen, it becomes more annoying the more applications you have open and the wider your physical screen is. I don't know what I expected, maybe it doing the other things would be weirder, I have no idea what I want.....
ZakO
Been waiting for this but it seems a pretty awful implementation, the auto-sizing functionality is dumb: ex. open firefox which starts with no title => it only shows an icon, open a new page, it still only shows an icon, close another app, now the firefox text/icon resizes and shifts the whole taskbar. Why would they not at least have a minimum width for buttons? Edited November 16, 2023 by ZakO
